Research Use Only — Not for Human Consumption

All products sold by BlankChem are intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory and scientific research. They are not approved for human consumption, veterinary use, or clinical application. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept all terms on this page.

Definitions

Term Definition
“BlankChem,” “we,” “us” BlankChem LLC and its affiliates, officers, agents, and suppliers.
“Site” The BlankChem website and all associated pages and services at blankchem.com.
“Products” All research-use-only compounds, peptides, and materials sold through the Site.
“You,” “Purchaser” Any individual or entity accessing the Site or purchasing Products.
“RUO” Research Use Only — products sold solely for scientific research in laboratory settings, not for human or veterinary use.
“COA” Certificate of Analysis — independent third-party lab document verifying purity and composition of a batch.
“Order” A completed purchase transaction submitted through the Site.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site, creating an account, or placing an Order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or purchase any Products.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BlankChem. You represent that you have read, understood, and agree to all provisions.

By completing a purchase, you explicitly confirm that you are a qualified researcher or laboratory professional purchasing Products exclusively for lawful in-vitro scientific research, and that you will not use, distribute, or resell Products for any purpose inconsistent with their RUO designation.

Research Use Only

All Products offered by BlankChem carry a Research Use Only (RUO) designation. This means:

Not for human consumption
Products must not be ingested, injected, inhaled, or applied to the body in any form, by any person.

Not for veterinary use
Products must not be administered to any animal under any circumstances.

Not for clinical or diagnostic use
Products are not approved by the FDA or any regulatory authority for therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical applications.

Not for consumer resale
Products must not be repackaged or resold for consumer, personal, or non-research use.

Laboratory handling required
Products must be handled by trained personnel following appropriate safety protocols in a controlled research environment.

Misuse of RUO products — including human self-administration — may be illegal under applicable law. BlankChem bears no liability for harm resulting from misuse. By purchasing, you accept full legal and personal responsibility for how Products are used.

Eligibility

To purchase from BlankChem, you must meet all of the following:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater)
  • Be a qualified researcher, licensed scientist, or laboratory professional engaged in legitimate scientific research
  • Have the legal authority to purchase research chemicals in your jurisdiction
  • Be purchasing for a lawful research purpose that complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies
  • Not be located in a jurisdiction where purchase or possession of the Products is prohibited by law

BlankChem reserves the right to refuse any order at its sole discretion, including where there is reasonable suspicion of non-research intent or jurisdictional non-compliance.

Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. BlankChem reserves the right to cancel any order prior to shipment.

  • Pricing: All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, and shipping fees calculated at checkout.
  • Payment: Payment is processed securely at the time of order via our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store raw card numbers.
  • Order Confirmation: A confirmation email is sent upon successful order placement. This does not constitute final acceptance — orders may be cancelled prior to shipment.
  • Promotional Codes: Discount codes (e.g., BC15) are limited to one use per customer, may expire, and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed before 3:00 PM EST on business days ship the same day. Orders placed after this time, on weekends, or on holidays are processed the next business day.

  • Domestic Shipping: Standard and expedited options available at checkout. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
  • International Shipping: It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to ensure that importing the Products complies with all laws in the destination country. BlankChem is not responsible for customs delays, seizures, or fees.
  • Risk of Loss: Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
  • Packaging: All Products ship in discreet, secure packaging to maintain compound integrity during transit.

It is your responsibility to verify that importing or possessing ordered compounds is legal in your jurisdiction. BlankChem will not issue refunds for orders refused, seized, or delayed by customs authorities.

Returns & Refunds

BlankChem Terms of Sale: Returns and Replacements

Return Eligibility
Returns are authorized solely for products that remain unused, unopened, and sealed. Returns must be initiated within 14 days of the purchase date. Order issues such as damaged or missing product must be reported within 7 days of the original delivery date to be eligible.

Refund Calculation
Refunds are issued for the product value only. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. A 10% administrative fee will be deducted from all returns to cover payment processing and restocking costs.

Order Cancellation
Cancellations are only accepted prior to order fulfillment. Once the fulfillment process has commenced, the order is final and cannot be cancelled.

Quality Assurance & Replacements
BlankChem stands by the purity of its products. However, due to the sensitive nature of peptides, replacements for reconstituted products are subject to strict quality control verification:

Reconstitution Media: Replacement requests are only honored if the researcher utilized BlankChem or Hospira brand bacteriostatic water. Use of any other reconstitution solution voids this guarantee.

Research Outcomes: BlankChem does not offer compensation or replacements based on subjective research results or experimental efficacy.

Returned products must be in original, sealed, unopened condition. BlankChem reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet eligibility criteria. Unauthorized returns will not be processed or refunded.

Product Compliance & Regulatory Notice

It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your purchase, possession, and use of Products complies with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • The Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and all applicable federal regulations
  • State and local laws governing research chemicals
  • Institutional policies of your employer, university, or research facility
  • Import and export regulations applicable to your jurisdiction
  • Any applicable DEA, FDA, or equivalent international regulatory requirements

BlankChem makes no representation that any Product is legal to purchase, possess, or use in any particular jurisdiction. Our legal counsel has reviewed our RUO sales framework; however, that review does not extend to your specific circumstances or jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property

All Site content — including text, graphics, logos, product images, COA formats, research articles, and software — is the property of BlankChem or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial research purposes consistent with these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any Site content without prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

BlankChem does not warrant that Products will meet your specific research requirements, produce particular results, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Third-party COAs represent the findings of independent laboratories and are provided for informational purposes only.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLANKCHEM AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS.

BlankChem’s total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Product giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the event.

BlankChem is not liable for any harm, injury, illness, legal consequence, or other damage resulting from misuse of Products, including human self-administration or use outside a controlled research environment.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BlankChem and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Site or Products
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Any misuse of Products, including use outside their RUO designation
  • Any misrepresentation made in connection with your purchase

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Delaware.

Before initiating any legal action, contact BlankChem at [email protected] with a written description of your claim. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes informally within 30 days.

Modifications

BlankChem reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders and/or by prominent notice on the Site. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

Your continued use of the Site or purchase of Products after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
